Truck Driver Training and Post 9/11 Benefits
Veteran’s and Active Duty military persons may qualify for 100% of their tuition, plus additional benefits.
Additional benefits include monthly living stipend, books and supplies, and on the job training pay. The Driver Resource Center works with carriers like Werner and TMC that are approved apprenticeship program providers. This provides an addition benefit of up to $13,016 tax free for "on the job training".
Air Force, Nave, Army, and Marine personnel on active duty can use GI Bill benefits, as can service members who are training overseas. Veterans with at least 90 days of active service after 9/11/2001 are eligible for the new GI BILL. National Guard and Reserves members with three years of active duty service after 9/11/2001 also qualify.
